How can I get rid of skin tags?

I'm 46 and in the last few years I have gotten more and more skin tags around my neck, in my armpits, and on my abdomen. They are unsightly but not otherwise a problem. What are some easy ways to get rid of them?

I agree with people who have suggested seeing a doctor to have them frozen off.





I had two under my armpits which I shaved off with a razor, it burned a little but not much and they haven't come back. The ones on your armpit you could probably do on your own. However, I had one of the back of my neck that I also cut off with scissors and it hurt terribly. I do NOT recommend cutting off the ones on you abs and neck on your own unless you have a very high pain tolerance. You also might cause yourself scars. (I didn't care about scars when I did mine because it's in an area my hair covers.)

Reply:Skin tags can be snipped off by a Dr. ,frozen off with liquid nitrogen, or even lasered.
Reply:Depending on how big they are (and I've seen them get huge) if you have like 1 or 2 under your armpits, this is what I do: just get some nail clippers and snip them off = put on some deodorant (yes it will burn) and kills it off...





But around your neck %26amp; abdomen, go to a doctor and either have them frozen off or cut off - I always see people who have those and wonder why they don't get em taken care of..





My Dermatologist has always told me, if you weren't born with it - get rid of it.. You never know what it could turn into..
